This dish may be served not only as the feature menu item for a luncheon or light dinner, but may be offered as a hot starter or snacks. French baguette topped with three kinds of cheese and crab meat, toast until cheese melts to oozing goodness.

Ingredients

1 cup cooked crab meat, crumbled
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon butter
1 small-sized white onion, finely chopped
1/3 teaspoon lemon juice
Salt and pepper, to taste
1-2 French baguette, sliced into 1inch thick rounds
2 garlic cloves, crushed

Procedure

* In a microwaveable bowl, mix first 7 ingredients. Season with salt and pepper. Microwave for 20 to 30 seconds until cheese melts.

* Rub each baguette rounds with garlic cloves. Place a spoonful of crab and cheese mixture on each baguettes. Place on a baking tray and cook in oven 5 minutes or until cheese melts and slightly golden brown.

Best served when hot! Sprinkle chopped parsley, if desired.
