Ingredients:

750 g beef brisket
2 medium potatoes, peeled, cut in cubes
1 tsp minced garlic
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup tomato sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 cups water
2 bay leaves
2 tbsps olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

In a large pot, saute garlic and onion. add beef and cook until just light brown. Pour in soy sauce, water and half of the tomato sauce. Add bay leaves and bring to a boil. Simmer and cook until beef is tender. add potatoes and the rest of the tomato sauce. Cook until potatoes are tender. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with steamed rice. Enjoy!
