Snack time will never be the same with these delish cheesy spread with pimiento. Pair it with your favorite cracker, bread, chips as dipping or even use it as toppings to your baked potato. Kids and adults would surely love and enjoy! With this recipe the mayonnaise is cut down and replace with small amount of lite butter.

Ingredients:

1/4 cup softened unsalted butter
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons finely chopped green bell pepper
3 tablespoons chopped pimiento
2 tablespoons finely chopped celery
garlic powder or minced garlic, optional (use according to taste)

Procedure:

In a small bowl combine butter, cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, pimiento, celery, and garlic powder. Mix well.

Serve with your choice of breads or crackers. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.

“Pimiento” is a Spanish word for pepper. It is a small red peppers that has a mild and sweet flavor that is similar to red bell pepper. Rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin k and Folate. That may help lesson the risk of some serious medical conditions.
