Who wouldn’t love pizza and chicken? But putting them together in one meal is a superb thing. Breaded chicken topped with marinara sauce, sprinkled with oozing cheese, salami, ham, pineapple, onions and bell pepper. It’s a sure party in your tummy.

Ingredients

Breaded chicken

2 chicken breast fillets, pounded
2 eggs beaten
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup bread crumbs
Salt and pepper
Cooking oil, for frying

Easy Tomato sauce

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 small-sized white onion, finely chopped
1 cup tomato sauce
1/4 cup tomato paste
Salt and pepper

Pizza toppings

1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup salami, thinly sliced
1/2 cup ham, diced
1/2 cup pineapple tidbits
1 medium-sized green or red bell pepper, diced
1 small-sized onion, chopped

Procedure

* Heat pan with cooking oil. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Dip in beaten egg, flour and coat with bread crumbs. Fry until golden brown. Remove from heat. Set aside.

* For the sauce: Sauté onion in a pan with oil. Wait until translucent. Add tomato sauce and tomato paste. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 5 to 8 minutes. Set aside.

* Preheat oven to 180C.

* Arrange prepared chicken fillets in a baking pan, top it with marinara sauce, grated cheese, salami, ham, pineapple, green bell pepper, and onions. Put in the oven and cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until cheese melts.

Serve hot and enjoy! You can also add other toppings, if desired.
