There’s no place like home… This macaroni salad recipe would bring you back to your childhood memories when your grandma used to make this. Creamy, cheesy, fruity and savory macaroni salad to serve for your family.
2 1/2 cups macaroni pasta, (cooked according to package instructions)
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 medium-size red onion, chopped thinly
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
4 tablespoons all-purpose cream
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Cayenne or chili flakes, optional
* In a large bowl combine macaroni pasta, celery, and onions. Set aside.
* In a medium bowl mix and blend mayonnaise, ketchup, cream, pineapple juice, grated cheese, and season with salt and pepper.
* Pour mayonnaise mixture onto the prepared pasta and toss in to coat. Refrigerate for about 2 hours. Serve and enjoy!
Sprinkle some cayenne pepper before serving.
