Here’s a quick and easy meal fish poured with tasty cream sauce. A fish dish anyone can make!
2 slices of fish ( of your choice)
3 tablespoons all purpose flour
3 tablespoons butter
2 cups chicken stock
1 small can of evaporated milk ( or fresh milk)
1 tablespoon chopped celery leaves
1 tablespoon chopped celery stalk
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper
*Wash fish slices. Pat dry with a paper towel. Season with garlic powder,salt and pepper. Pan fry till golden brown. Transfer onto a serving dish.
*Melt butter and add in the flour, stir well to combine until it resembles a paste like mixture. Pour in chicken stock and milk. Bring to a boil while constantly stirring. simmer for one minute and season with a dash of ground pepper. Turn off the fire and mix in the celery leaves. Stir and pour over the fish. Top with chopped celery stalk. Serve with steamed rice. Bon Appetit!
Tip: If the the sauce will be served at a later time, cover it with a cling wrap, this will avoid the sauce from skinning (skin formation on top of liquids when left exposed in the air).
