Tired of eating your usual plain steamed rice? This is a must try rice recipe. The secret to this dish is using pure crab fat, which has a very intense yet delicious flavor.
– 1 tablespoon butter
– 1 tablespoon garlic,chopped
– 1/4 cup onions, chopped
– 4 to 6 cups cooked rice
– 1/4 cup cooked crab fat (bottled or canned)
– salt and pepper to taste
– 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped thinly
– 1 lime (optional)
1. Heat butter and sauté onions and garlic. Add the cooked rice and stir for 2 minutes. Add the crab fat and continue stirring until rice is well coated. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve warm and garnish with green onions and some lime. Perfect paired with steamed fish, oyster, prawns and crab.
