This is definitely a very tempting treat to have. Vanilla ice cream scoop into a dish, topped with luscious, nutty, gooey sauce.
• 1 pint vanilla ice cream
• 1/4 cup butter or margarine
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup light corn syrup
• 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• ripe banana, for garnish
1. In small pan over medium-high heat, bring sugar, butter and syrup to a full boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla extract and pecans.
2. Scoop ice cream in a small bowl, pour the sauce over. Garnish with sliced banana if desired.
