Authentic Japanese food is highly expensive. Here’s a easy-to-do Japanese recipe that score high in taste and affordability. Crab sticks, mango, cucumber, and lettuce wrapped in tortilla and drizzled with delish and creamy avocado-mayo dressing.

Ingredients

3 wheat or flour tortilla
1 cup sliced ripe mangoes
½ cucumber, peeled, seeded, and sliced into strips
6 pcs kani/crab sticks
1 1/2 cups choppede lettuce

Avocado-Mayo

1/2 cup chopped avocadoes
1/2 cup Japanese mayonnaise
2 tablespoons all-purpose cream
1/2 teaspoon wasabi

Procedure

* To make the dressing: purée avocado in a blender. Transfer in a bowl. Add in Japanese mayonnaise, cream, and wasabi. Mix and blend well. Set aside.

* Heat tortilla in the oven for 15 to 20 seconds on both sides. In the center of the tortilla, spread some avocado-mayo dressing. Place lettuce, crab sticks, and mango sticks. Roll up the tortilla and slice into 2 inches thick. Secure each wrap with toothpick.

* Place on a platter and drizzle with the remaining avocado-mayo dressing.
