This is a sweet delight to give for your special loved ones this holiday seasons. Polvoron is a moulded round pastry made by toasting flour and combining milk powder, butter, and sugar with a nutty taste of cashew.
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup milk powder
1/4 cup ground roasted cashew
1 teaspoon lemon extract
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/4 cups melted butter
* In a pan over moderate heat. Toast flour until slightly light brown. Stir constantly, then remove from heat to cool. Mix in well with milk powder, chopped cashew, lemon extract, sugar and butter.
* Press mixture on moulds then transfer to a serving plate. Serve and enjoy.
