Cheese Sticks with Tomato Mayo Dip

This is a quick bite recipe to make every time you crave for a cheesy treat. Perfect to serve for parties or some movie nights.


180 grams cheddar cheese or quick-melt, cut into strips
12 pieces Spring roll wrappers, cut in half
Cooking oil, for frying
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
dash of hot sauce


* Wrap cheese sticks with the spring roll wrapper. Seal the edges with water. Make sure it is wrap properly so that it won’t come out while frying. Repeat until all cheese sticks and wrappers are used.

* Heat 2 inches of oil in a frying pan. Cook cheese sticks by batches. To retain the temperature of the oil. Cook until golden brown. Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

* To make the dipping sauce: combine mayonnaise, ketchup and hot sauce in a small bowl. Mix and blend well.

Serve and enjoy!
