Try this appetizing and creamy pâté. Perfect spread for your canapés while having a glass of wine with your friends. Garnished with capers, olives, or chopped vegetables.
1 cup chopped chicken liver
1 cup chopped chicken breast
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/4 cup crushed garlic
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup cooking oil
1 cup cream cheese
1/4 cup all-purpose cream
* In a pot combine chicken liver, chicken breast, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, oil, and season with salt and pepper. Cook over medium-high heat, uncovered until boiling. Lower the heat and simmer while covered until meat are tender and until sauce is almost dry.
* Transfer cooked liver and meat mixture in a food processor or blender. Blend and purée. Add in cream cheese, all-purpose cream and 1/2 teaspoon olive oil. Mix well.
* Place pâté in a ceramic or container of choice. Drizzle with olive oil on top and let it chill until ready to serve.
* Spread in baguette, cracker or vegetables strips like carrots, cucumber and celery.
