You can serve dish as an appetizer or a starter.. Very light fried tofu with the taste of sweet, salty and tangy sauce. Topped with fresh onion to neutralize the flavor. You’ll definitely enjoy every single bite of this dish.

Ingredients

1-2 blocks soft (silken) tofu, diced into bite-sized
1/2 cup flour
1 red onion, cut into rings
1 tablespoon chopped green onions
cooking oil for frying

Soy-vinegar Sauce

1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup soy sauce
2-3 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Procedure

* Slightly dredge tofu in flour and deep-fry in hot oil. Cook until golden brown. Remove from heat and place on a plate with paper towel to absorb excessive oil.

* For the sauce: Combine vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Stir to blend well.

* Place tofu on a serving plate and drizzle with prepared soy-vinegar sauce. Garnish with onion rings and chopped green onions on top. Serve and enjoy!
