This is perfect to do snack that would fill up your hungry tummy! Very versatile recipe that could give you happiness in one simple treat. Cooked ham combined with cream cheese and other easy to find ingredients, coated with bread crumbs and fried golden brown.

Ingredients

1 cup chopped cooked ham
1 1/2 cups cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/4 cup minced shallots
1/4 cup minced celery
1/2 cup sour cream
Pinch of paprika
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup potato flour
1 cup fine breadcrumbs
Canola oil, for frying

Garlic-mayo Dip

1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sour cream
Pinch of cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper

Procedure:

* Prepare dipping sauce ahead of time. In a small bowl combine all ingredients. Season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate until ready to use.

* In a large bowl, place ham, fold in cream cheese, cheddar cheese, shallots, celery, sour cream and paprika, mixing until well blended. Refrigerate for about 10-15 minutes.

* Spray oil on a tray. Place small amount of oil in your clean hands. Scoop a spoonful of ham and cream cheese mixture. Roll in round shape with your hands. Place on the prepared tray.

* Heat 2 inches of oil in a pan. Place flour and breadcrumbs on separate plates. Roll prepared balls in flour then in beaten eggs, and cover with breadcrumbs. Deep-fry in pan. Don’t over crowd the pan to maintain the heat of the oil. Cook until golden brown. Place on a plate with paper napkin to absorb excess oil.

Serve and enjoy with prepared garlic-mayo dip.
