3 1/2 cups goat’s milk or regular milk
1 1/2 cups all-purpose cream
1 cup condensed milk
500 grams purple yam
* Boil the yam for about 40 minutes or until soft. Let it cool for a few minutes and peel. Mash the yams and strain through a sieve. Set aside.
* In a sauce pan, combine goat’s milk and condensed milk. Heat until just about to boil. Add the mashed yam and turn the heat off. Mix until well blended. Allow to cool at room temperature. Then add the all-purpose cream.
* Transfer to a container then put in the freezer. Scoop into individual bowls and serve.
Serve with cookies or biscuits. You can also add some chopped nuts, if desired.
