A healthful and wonderful cereal bar that kids can bring with them as a energy snack in school or in their outdoor activities. Make your favorite breakfast cereal turns to easy to bring treat that would provide you strength and energy within the day.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup corn flakes
1 cup assorted nuts: pistachios, almonds, pecan, and walnuts (or your choice)
2 tablespoons raisins
2 cup full cream milk powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons honey
4 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons orange flavored gelatin powder

Procedure:

Combine corn flakes, mixed nuts, raisins, and full cream milk powder in a bowl. Add salt. Mix until fully incorporated. Set aside.

Heat honey and water in a pan. Add orange flavored gelatin to dissolve. Pour honey mixture into the prepared corn flakes mixture. Mix well.

Grease molding tray and transfer the corn flakes mixture. Let it cool until ready to cut in square bite size.

Store in an airtight container or wrap individually with colored cellophane wrappers.

* You can experiment and use different combinations of your favorite breakfast cereals in preparing this recipe. Other flavor of gelatin such as mango, lemon, strawberry can also be used.

Breakfast cereals are a source of fiber while milk provides calcium that keeps your bones strong, making this a very nutritious snack not only for kids but adults as well.
