Lighten up your dish with this creamy and velvety smooth tasty gravy sauce that is perfect to serve with your mashed potatoes, steaks, breaded chops, and burger steaks.
1 1/2 tablespoons softened butter
1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
1/2 cup button mushrooms, sliced thinly
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
5 tablespoons water
1 beef broth cube
1 1/2 cup warm water
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
salt and ground black pepper
* In a hot saucepan, put butter and sauté garlic until slightly brown. Add mushrooms and cook for 3 minutes. Dissolve flour in 5 tablespoons water. Pour in the sautéed mushrooms. Add in beef broth cube. Constantly stirring while adding warm water until the sauce thickens. Add soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and ground black pepper depending on taste. Adjust soy sauce if needed.
