This marvelous Italian dessert pudding is a sure winner to serve. Molded cream combined with gelatin goodness, drizzled with fantastic coffee syrup to complete the sweet dessert.
1 pack/envelope unflavored gelatin
1 cup warm water
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups all-purpose cream
1/2 cup sugar
1-2 tablespoons coffee granules or instant coffee powder
1/4 cup water
* In a pan, put gelatin over water; let it stand for 5 minutes. Place over medium heat, stirring until gelatin dissolves. Add in sugar, continue stirring. Remove from heat and let it cool before adding the cream. Transfer in a molding bowl and chill for at least 4 hours until firm.
* To make the coffee syrup: in a hot saucepan. Place sugar until caramelized. Add in coffee granules and water. Mix well until syrupy consistency.
Serve panna cotta in a saucer or sherbet dishes. Drizzle some coffee syrup and enjoy!
