2 ready-rolled puff pastry
1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup pizza sauce
1/2 cup chopped ham
1/4 cup chopped Italian sausage
1 beaten egg
* Preheat oven to 180C. Spray a cookie sheet with spray oil (or you can use baking paper to line the sheet).
* Divide the ingredients for 2 batches. Lay pastry on a lightly floured surface.Spread pizza sauce all over the pastry, then sprinkle cheese, ham and sausages, but leaving 1/2 inch border at the edges, to avoid fillings to overflow when rolled. Gently roll the pastry up as tightly as possible to make a long log. Make sure to press the edge of the pastry firmly to seal the log.
* Cut the logs into 1/2 inch equal sizes and place the each slice on the cookie sheet as you go. Brush each slice with the beaten egg and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes or until puffed and golden. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
