Enjoy this very simple and easy to do recipe. Pork liver marinated in soy sauce and lemon. Aside from its delicious taste, it is also high in protein and iron that helps your body to be strong and healthy.
300 grams fresh pork liver, thinly sliced
4 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons lemon or lime juice
Pinch of ground black pepper
1 small-onion, chopped
1 small green bell pepper, chopped
* In a bowl. Mix soy sauce, lemon juice, and black pepper. Add in pork liver, marinate and chill for 1 to 2 hours.
* In a hot pan with oil, sear in liver for few seconds on both sides. Remove from heat. Set aside. In the same pan with the remaining oil. Sauté onions and green bell pepper, cook until onion turns translucent. Place in the liver, add ample amount of marinade mixture to create a sauce. Cook for about 1 to 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
* Transfer onto a serving plate and enjoy with steamed rice.
* Add a teaspoon of flour dilute in water to create a thicker sauce, if desired.
