Scrambled Egg with Shrimp and Sprout

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. The very basic meal to serve in the morning is scrambled egg, but adding shrimp and alfalfa sprout makes it more special and healthy meal. Make your scrambled extra creamy and tasty by adding milk and cheese to it.


1 tablespoon lite butter
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
3 tablespoons grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup small-sized cooked shrimp, unshelled
1 cup alfalfa sprout
Salt and pepper, to taste


* Beat eggs in a small bowl. Add milk and grated cheese. Season with salt and pepper.

* In a pan, heat butter until melted. Add the shrimp, sauté for 2 minutes. Pour in the egg mixture and ¾ of the sprout. Wait until the egg is cooked.

* Transfer onto a plate and garnish with the remaining sprout. Serve with slices of wheat bread or toasts.

Alfalfa sprouts aids digestion for weight loss. It is high in magnesium, potassium, zinc, vitamins C and E, B complex and amino acids.
